If my reasons move you, greatly; either way. It shows that you're more than just another sheep in the Political pasture...
And a thinking individual; that can decide an issue for themselves...

The "South Dakota" ban on Pro Choice issues deserves every "thinking" persons support.
I consider myself to be 'Right to life - Pro Choice'...
I believe that all life is precious... Even the insects.
I believe that we should end all wars; because of the devistation done to LIFE!
I believe that all people should have the final say as to what is going on in their body.
If I have an unwanted growth that could prove harmful to me if allowed to continue growing; then I should be allowed to make the final decision to have the growth removed.
What if the Legislature arbituarirly decides that 'Persons' with "Blue Eyes" would get preferential treatment at all sporting, entertainment, public gathering places.
Would we allow that bill to stand?
If this bill is allowed to stand: we risk that option being open to a body that is elected by us "to do our bidding". But as my Mother always says:"You never get any thing unless you ask for it". And if we never tell them what we want, or expect from them... Shame on us...
Being 'Human' if "man" isn't given guidelines to follow; he's going to do it his own way. And "the man with the Gold will always be the one calling the tune".
Since we've all been made aware of the Lobbying Scandels that our 'Elected Representatives' have been a party to: we all know it takes money to move those Representatives to any favorable action.
Send your Reresentative a dollar, tell them this is your campaign contribution, and that you want them to vote "lift the South Dakota Ban", and abolish that bill, and any further efforts to ban any human being the right to choose their own Destiny.
To make real progress on the issues critical to our country, we must cut the ties between politicians and the big-money interests and lobbyists who fund their campaigns.

Last month, I shared with you that, as a native South Dakotan, I was outraged when my state passed a ban on abortion. Your responses were so heartwarming! I even heard from other South Dakota natives who were thrilled to see one of their own standing up for freedom and privacy.
Your well wishes inspired me so much that I went home this week to help the South Dakota Campaign for Healthy Families alongside our affiliate, NARAL Pro-Choice South Dakota. Working with our partners in South Dakota, we had one common goal: restore common sense to South Dakota by overturning this abortion ban. Here at home, we're going door-to-door collecting signatures from pro-choice South Dakotans. I want to tell you about my first two petition signers.
As I nervously walked up to a house in Sioux Falls, I saw an older man on his lawnmower in his yard. He hopped off the mower and came out to greet me. He asked gruffly, "Whatcha sellin'?" I told him about the petition, and he said, "Well shoot, I'm for that." And he signed right there. Then, he went inside to get his wife, and she signed too. As I walked away beaming, he went back to mowing the lawn and waved at me. To me, our exchange was an example of what's best about our state.
